Hi all, am looking for a shooting vehicle to save my nice Skoda Yeti from getting constantly plastered and a 1 owner, 55 plate, 2 litre diesel manual, with FSH and 81 grand on the clock is up for sale at a local garage. ( According to Honest John this year model doesn't have a DPF which is good news)

I've looked through the search facility on the forum and there's no info (which might tell me something) but has anyone had any experience, good or terrible, of one of these as I've never really considered a Pacific Rim motor before.

Thanks....Nick

Hi Elmer I had one for 3 years nothing went wrong with it. Good reliable car for, me works off road too (I used it for foxing, mainly on grass)but proper tyres are a must. I noticed the 4 wheel drive, although electronic on my Tucson, was prone to make a slight ticking on full right lock so check the one you intend to buy. In truth it was the most reasonably priced (to run and service) and reliable car I have had, compared to a range rover and a mercedes ml. If you get a reasonable one it will do you proud and if you want some roof bars for it, I have a set, once used for £70 !!1

Good luck
