Lancs Lad Posted December 10, 2006 Report Share Posted December 10, 2006 went of to drop off my farmers xmas pressie today................a red, a white and a rose in a nice box... having a chat and bending his ear about other farms in the area, getting names etc as its always good to turn up with the name of the famer whos house your are knocking on (makes you less of a stranger if you know their name). Asking who was the farmer who owned this bit of land (after having a drive round reccy trip). Anyway, I got the details and went knocking, but no one was at home. However as we were chatting, I discovered that my current owner has more land a few miles down the road... 200 acres of prime OSR......... Now added to my permission...........
