Ben W.
A total of ten working days from submitting my FAC and SGC application they have popped through the door. A day after posting the FLO called me to arrange a meeting and five days after the meeting the certificates arrive. I was worried as so many people in other counties seem to wait an age for their applications to be processed but cannot fault the efficiency here. Left handed CZ 452 American .22lr on order, may post a review with pictures if I can find time away from introducing it to the rabbits. I could only dream of such a shirt wait. A current sgc holder and been waiting nearly 4 month up to now😳

jimmyb79
It is encouraging to see a variety of forces are starting to up their game. Hopefully the rest will follow suit soon and then....comes the price rise!
norfolk dumpling
Norfolk and Suffolk are collaborating to save cash and my SGC was renewed promptly BUT then FLO turned up for usual checks and then proceeded with a safety lecture. As someone of very mature years I found this very odd with questions like "..when did you get first gun?" 52 years ago! "..did your dad give you a safety talk?" No he gave me a gun! Ben W.
Away for ten days and the rifle hadn't arrived before I left so I will have to wait a little longer to field test it. If only the supplier was as fast as the licensing department. The FLO was brilliant in all honesty, you are right in saying Norfolk and Suffolk have merged and Suffolk still has 8 full time FLO for the county with 28,000 licence holders apparently. He said it was around a four month wait for Hampshire. That's unacceptable in my opinion.
