RED BEARD Posted September 1, 2013 Report Share Posted September 1, 2013 Also with sheep if your lucky enough for them to stay alive long enough they need worming vaccinating and protecting from any thing else they happen not to like constantly and then when you are in a pen working with you they have got a good talent of standing on your toes or headbutting you for no aparent reason This is all very true,but they are still easier to hold than cattle.I'd rather be butted by a sheep than kicked by a cow! jasper3 Posted September 1, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2013 Thanks lads , i have heard this about sheep and turkey's I'm sure i will make a few mistakes along the way, Thanks Axeman for the back up..its always nice to know there is advice around ile more than likely start with a couple of pigs , and me chooks and ducks, ..i need to find out more about sheep, cattle, and goats before getting any... i have had a great offer from a lady who keeps goats , she has offered me to go over and gain some experience , milking , cleaning feeding and meds, thats with the goats and not her i would be silly not too Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
