ShaggyRS6
Hi all, I have a Black Lab at the moment and got him long before my interest in Guns, that coupled with the fact that he is now 14 makes it difficult for him to get around. He has arthritas too, so cannot excercise. Although fit in himself he is getting on, and I know the dreaded day will come when he will not be with us. Baring his age in mind, and in your experience would it be better to leave getting another dog (thing a choccy Lab this time) till after the "dreaded" day or introduce one now? Also, I was thinking about getting a dog about 6 months old, there is a breader near by that will train them up to six month so you dont have to do so much house triaining etc. Any advice would be good. lurcherboy
He is too old to do anything with just let him live his days out in comfort mate. He would probably get a new lease of life if you introduce a puppy to the house. I would wait until getting the part trained puppy but thats just my opinion.
