Glenn (who is the village idiot/drunk but a really nice bloke) is the only one that can get away with saying stuff to her when we are in there...when I first met him I wanted to drop him....now I know he is "kinda" joking

the rabbit is nearly as big as a doberman.... :rolleyes:

 

Best be careful where you are putting your left hand then old bean :):lol:

you can say that about any profession tho.... builders, plumbers. Any one in a uniform.....

You ever been in a `working class ` pub? Or just a nice champagne bars?

 

I was born in Stockton and grew up in Wingate - Co. Durham. Look 'em up if you don't know them. They're the sort of places you wipe your feet on the way out and get more than a slap for simply looking at people the wrong way.

 

I'm not saying other people in uniform should be allowed to act any differently. I hadn't realised it would turn into a 3 page thread, I'd hoped it would be just a point for all to consider. Just because bar maids may, or may not put up with it, does not make it right.

 

Obviously people can agree, or disagree. I'm out.
