stan68
sorry about that pressed the wrong button I have a tikka varmint in 243 with a 1 in10 twist and was wondering if anyone shoots 58g vmax with it ? I currently shoot 75g norma vmax but want to try the lighter round. any info much appreciated dave
njc110381
I should think it will be ok. I'm looking to try the same out of my rifle and have high expectations. Usually it's heavy for calibre bullets that cause issues rather than light. Although I've read some negative comments about very light for calibre stuff, in this case it seems quite a few people use them in factory guns with no problems. Frenchieboy
I am not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure my .243 is a 1 in 10 twist and it shoots 58g V-Max (Home loaded ammunition) extremely accurately and they are devestating on foxes! As an added bonus if I want to go back to 75g ammunition there is exactly an inch difference in elevation at 100 yards with my rifle so it is easy to compensate or just add 4 clicks on the scope.
