dob
I have got a browning .17hmr which is shooting fairly well but trigger is stiff, I have used the adjustment screw and wound it right down to its limit , thing is cos it's such a light rifle I am pulling a few shots left when pulling trigger, now should I spend money and get a gunsmith to lighten trigger pull down to about 2 lb or chop it in for something else . Not sure what would be cheaper . I like the rifle but don't want to chuck loads of cash at it but then again what money would I lose doing a part ex , it's only about 8 months old , any suggestions would be great , ta
Alanl50
A farmer mate of mine had the same issue with his T-bolt in .17Hmr no one would touch the trigger in the end he chopped it in against a Sako Quad .17 Hmr Alan
nicholiath
Second hand cz which has probably already had the trigger fettled , if not a diy trigger kit will set you back about a tenner.
V8 90
Have you tried backing the adjusting screw right off instead of winding it right down ?
dob
I have backed adjustment screw so far I have put a piece of tape over it cos I worried it will fall out .I think it's about three and a half pound ! What is the norm I prefer them light
V8 90
I have a T bolt Hmr that I got last backend - I got it for the straight pull as I read lots of reports of bolts catching the Pulsar N750, the trigger is heavy even when fully backed off but I've learnt to live with it. I looked into getting the trigger lightened but decided it wasn't worth it - I shot hundreds of rabbits with it throughout last winter, I missed a few but don't think I missed anymore than I would have done if I'd fitted my N750 to my CZ Hmr - (it's had a trigger kit fitted)
