Guest cookoff013
hi guys, i dont normally lurk around here, but i`ve had this question for a few months... does anyone use Match grade pellets for hunting? i`m on about the ~6 grain pellets? i know they have flat wadcutter heads but if they group well, they are ideal? this question comes from the fact that even small shotgun pellet(s), can still take game. (i`m not going to go into that debate) i havent used as i tended towards FTTs and bizmags. etc. but i`d like some input. i am thinking about airgunning again, targets with light match grade pellets. secretagentmole
Flat heads tend to get dynamically unstable after about 14 metres! ie they wobble like a blancmange in an earthquake and are not accurate as a result! Best stick to traditional domed heads for best hunting accuracy!
evo
100% agree with mole, domed heads all day long for me, I have tried them all and nothing compares to a good domed pellet ie JSB EXACTS 15.89g or RWS SUPERFIELDS 15.9g
Underdog
When I tried them the result on critters seemed inconsistant! U.
Fabhui
My guns seem to like RWS Superdomes.
