bighit1985
Hi, well I've been shooting shotguns for the last 18 months and have .22 rim fire for the last year. I'm 27 and and relatively new to live shooting ( done plenty of paper punching in the back garden over the years) So I've been looking into reloading as another side hobby of the shooting, my knowledge is limited so far and at the moment just looking in to things and what will work for me and whether it will be worth while. I'm looking at reloading shot shells currently to make some custom loads and get a 'foot in the door' of reloading then once Ive got larger calibre rifles then reloading for them. So my main question is, if I want to reload shot shells at the moment will I be able to use the same equipment for rifle ammo with necessary adjustments, I'm thinking mec9000?? If not is it worth getting a lee load all 2 at the moment. Then getting other lee reloading equipment or RCBS equipment. Cheers
kent
No but some things are interchangeable like powder droppers and scales (depending on type) personally I use an arbour type press (as used with benchrest dies)for some shotgun loading tasks but the std RCBS rockchucker rifle ammo press etc is useless for shotshell really
