Salop Matt
It sounds like what ever you bought it would never in your eyes live up to the standard you hold your current MK 1 at so why don't you just up grade the old girl and get a quick fill put on the rifle you have now, maybe even get it a custom stock ? If I get the chance of a still day I will try to get out and shoot some 50yard groups for you so you can see what my Daystate 30ftlb .22 Huntsan is kicking out ! Although am sure i am not the best of shots to do it justice ! Regards Matt

Salop Matt
Maybe as with all brands you dropped lucky and got one of there best examples. My experience with Rapids and Daystate are the exact opposite, I have a good'un (Daystate) and am keeping it, I would say do the same with your Rapid. Just treat her to a small upgraded and bit of TLC to reward the good work she has put in for you ! ATB Matt

ATB Matt your 100 percent right pal, thats what i think as well as my friends have bought rapids after shooting mine yet theres don't shoot the same when they get them, may be we are both lucky in the same way.i put a video on here last year shooting rabbits with mine,if you can find it you will know what i mean as i am doing clean head shots with it time and time again at 50,60 even more, google lakey126 its on there it was doing 28ftlb at that time, cheers simon Edited October 27, 2013 by simon6ppc
karpman
Agree. Mostly, don't have to be a Daystate to clover leaf at 50 yards. When I was zeroing mine it put 3 mags in a inch at 42. Then I pushed it out to 50 and was grouping just as tight, was using a full size bean bag on the bonnet of my freelander. It runs 30 shots through the chrono with less than 20fps difference at 30ftlb well 29.11 average if we're getting picky. Out of these guns shotstring of less than 10fps a second is not uncommon with a bit of fiddling. But if you want a Daystate you should buy one. Long time dead and all that, I probably would if I could justify the cost. Which I can't right now lol. Karpman
Salop Matt
Not if it's already and made and sat in the stock cupboard as mine was, or buy second hand and save some money. There is a second hand Ranger 40 for sale at the moment ! ATB Matt
