Graeme1
Not that cheap when you add postage, managed to get the same from a local gun shop for £10 not very robust but will do the job
russian sniper
Yep checked the gunshops here and couldn't get em that cheap, so i have ordered them and a crab fishing line to use as a motherline on the splashes on my permission. For the 4 decoys and the crab fishing line it all came to less than £20 - bargain!!

kent
I think I should rather have the best layout I could, I do however sometimes press one into use on flashes after a tide flight. Its hard to get things natural yet at the same time visible with defined kill zones but it don't sound like your that bothered by that. russian sniper
Not really as the decoys will be used on a small part of a waterlogged field - maybe the term "splash" isnt correctly used by me?? But they will help attract wildfowl
chacotawas
I recently bought a dozen and a half decent duck decoys from Decathlon for about £60 including postage by carrier. They seem fine to me.

But they will help attract wildfowl The term splash generally means not deep, so that covers it. My point is gang rigs do not offer the best placement, on moving or deep water they come into their own though. Correct placement of deeks can transform a flight, bad placement can ruin it. kent
Well i'm new to this wildfowling thing - so any tips would be good For a bunch of 4 you could do a lot worse than put them in a small group together as litle a bunch. All rigged separate with short lines (of muted colour) and just use a few bits of scrap lead or metal to keep them from drifting off. Leave free landing space all round them. Then just wait for the duck to commit before moving yourself or the gun

russian sniper
The decoys arrived and for £10 + post i'm very happy with them!! 1 of them had lost its sand ballast from the keel as the plug had come out - but i've sorted that. Otherwise they look like they will do the job

Otherwise they look like they will do the job If I can place them onto the water I drill the keel out and remove the sand anyhow, makes them more stable in strong flows and lighter when you carry a lot.
