Holland&Holland
Hi , Mate of mine shot his first fallow deer yesterday in our biggest dutch nature reserve called Veluwe (where hunting and shooting still is allowed luckily). I was out for wild boar in the same area that is leased by two mates of mine, did see some roe, and a single wild boar of around two years, but this time i was only allowed to shoot yearlings. Sat in the dark from 5 till 11 o'clock. Wild boar are mostly shot at night over here. Hunting can be very lonely at these times... My mate shot the fallow just before dusk, but it ran off. Had to look for it, but we managed to get it in the end. Fallow can be so very strong animals. Also good oppurtunity to try out my new Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 i got for X-mas. Unfortunately i have to downsize the pictures a great deal to get them posted. Hope it works out. Hopefully can keep you posted with nice piccies in future. and off course all the best to you all for 2007 !!
