hill billy
i was just wondering if any of you guys have used them in 22-250 ? its just a local gun shot is stocking them and they are only £14 a box of 20 which makes them a couple of quid cheaper than pointed soft points which i normally use, what is your impressions of them because they are just over 4100 fps and being ballistic tip i asume you would make excessive damage with them cheers

JRDS
I would say 50GRN minimum for Foxing, thats probably why they are cheap.
hill billy
i would home load mate but i just brought a landy so i am a bit skint at the moment so can't afford the gear just yet but i will do in the future. i was thinking they are a bit on the light side but with the velocity i would have thought that they transferr energy well. JRDS
Not saying it couldn't kill them obviously but if you have a 22 - 250 you may as well use the best weight heads for Foxing and that would be 55grn or so IMO in this calibre. I have heard of people having problems with lightweight B/Tips on Foxes through a lack of penetration, Frank with his 204 a case in point.
