The Ghost
I phoned up work this morning..."Sorry Boss, I can't come in on Monday, I'm sick""This is the third Monday in a row you're had off. Just how sick are you?""Well, I'm in bed with Fenboy at the moment if that's any help." In short i’m off, so count me in Fenny.
Squash wavy
Had a fantastic day with Fenny, Wraivi and George. Fenny showed us around some beautiful spots and the walks presented some challenging birds. I really enjoyed trying to flush out the Pheasant. Wraivi had a killer shot and got one early on. I had a near miss. Later on the in the day, Fenny set a hide up for us and good old Wraivi dispatched a Mallard early on after my terrible attempt. We visited loads of different spots with tons of guidance from the masters. It was a great experience for my first time in walked up shooting. All said and done; one pheasant, one mallard, three pigeon. Doesn't speak for the fun had!
The Ghost
Squash wavy and Wraivi, I would like to thank you both for your visit to The Fens. It was clear to me that you both have a great love and respect for the countryside and every thing in it. I enjoyed your company and look forward to next time...thanks for a great day out gents. Thanks for today Fenny despite working and shooting pigeon with you most of the time..... it’s always nice to get in the truck and go hunting for a change. A thoroughly enjoyed day in excellent company and surroundings, and we even got to warm the barrels as an added bonus. Doesn't get any better! Thanks to Fenny, Ghost and the lovely Taz for looking after Squash Wavy & I so well. I will look forward to the next time, should the opportunity arise. Thanks again chaps.
