Cleaning up an SMK

Nearly 10 years ago I bought myself a new SMK for the princely sum of £60. Left home a few years ago and the gun was forgotten about and it's condition deteriorated.

Was home recently and decided to give the gun a thorough clean, as well as stripping the horrible factory finish and coating it myself.

Happy with the results, enjoying reliving my youth as well. You don't have to have an expensive gun to have fun!

After!

There's a lot of flak fired at the cheaper chinese rifles but my B20 served me very well on the rabbits for a few years before I treated myself to an AA s400. Still got the B20 and wouldn't sell it. The entry level SMK B2, XS12, XS15 are built to a budget and designed for pure garden plinking fun and have started off many a good airgun passion. I for one feel they have a definite place in our hobby and don't deserve the sarcasm they receive by shooters with expensive kit...... :good:

You both done sterling jobs on the refurbs....... :good:
