Mentalmac
Hi Guys, Just after a bit of advice. I'm replacing my fuel filter tonight. So, I know all the usual about filling it with diesel before putting it back on etc... but is it worth while me putting some injector cleaner such as redX or something in there too? Apparently you should half fill the filter with redX or other cleaner and half with diesel and then install it and put the other half a bottle of cleaner in your tank. Does that sound right? Cheers for any help Chris

88b
I'd add the cleaner well before changing the filter in case it loosens any residue in the tank and sucks it up. I always use a vacuum pump and pull the diesel up into the filter
