Few hours on the Maize stubble

Woke up today and saw that it was pretty windy outside so I drove down to my permission and saw a fair few birds in woods surrounding a maize stubble field, I decided to try my luck !, I set up with a 10 full bodies and 5 shells with a rotary with hypa flaps at the front of the horseshoe,

It started off very slow with no shots in the first 45 mins but I decided to stick at it, around 50 mins into the day I had my first shot and then all hell broke loose !, it made all the pigeons in the surrounding woods get and panic a little.

After that I had a steady flow of pigeons came into the decoys for the next 2 1/2 hours and because of the wind it produced some very fun and very hard sport.

I ended the day with 8 birds for 32 shots, the shot/kill ratio was high but I blame the wind !,

Not a massive bag but I had loads of fun
