socalyankee
I recently bought a used Air Arms S410... it is my first PCP airgun. After shooting and ensuring that the gun is empty, what is the best way to store it? Bolt all the way forward or open? Should I fill it with more air prior to storage? Any advice would be appreciated.
steve_b_wales
Mine is stored with the bolt in the fired position and I leave air in the cylinder. I was informed by an Air Arms service engineer that doing this does not cause any damage.
secretagentmole
As with any gun a wipe down with gun oil helps too. I always top up to the recommended fill pressure before storing, as idiot has been known to go out without checking the air level before leaving!
