Hi all just started to reload my 204 with ramshot tac 32 v-max heads but cannot find the powder with the vmax load data its got another 32g head will this be the same powder data thanks chris

ps I started at 26.5 and was low at 200 yards so have gone to 27g of powder any help would be good am new to reloading but it is fun to do

Hi pal, the submitted data will give you a starting point to work your load up from, sometimes componants need to be substituted through lack of supply or becoming discontinued. You will build you own data and confidence in time.

Your well within the data but I would tread a little lighter than 1/2 grain increases when you get near max.

low what ?? pressure ? fps ?

Just becourse a bullet stricks low or high you don"t have to increase or decrease the powder charge look for pressure sings flattening or cratered primers and so on.

27gn of most powders will fill a 204 case to a compact load or one with high pressure so be carefull 0.5 of a grain is alot of powder at top end of a load 0.2gn is suficiant increase when getting to the top end of a. But if you had no pressure sings at 26.5gn and they grouped well i would just stick with that

yes thanks all i bought a good set of scales as cannot get on with the ones that i got with the set will try the 27g if ramshot data is right i am well under the max load useing the data from the 32g blazer kings for the 32g v-max sorry i have not replied my pc keeps crashing since i updated it
