stuey
The mrs is after a new car and likes the look of the antara. Seen a 2009 model which she likes, but wondering if anyone has any experience or info on them. It is the diesel manual. Cheers Stu
michufc
Please don't bye one we must of had a Friday afternoon car it was a nightmare had it from new and the garage had it more than we did and even vauhall head office couldn't fix it Eventually after the threat of legal procedures we got all of our money back so we could walk away. But this is only my experience of that one car so it put me off massively so if a mate asked me I would tell him the same to look at other options
chady
I personally stat clear of vauxhalls. But saying that what's all this lifetime warren ty about. So it must stand for something
michufc
The problem is with suggested lifetime warranty is there are so many disclosures I never quite trust them as when I worked in main dealers when you get your new car you are told it's all covered for three years then out the back there was a massive list of stuff that's not covered
Gordon R
My youngest has the Chevrolet Captiva 2.0 diesel (Same car as Antara) - manual - 16k miles. Reasonably nippy, very respectable on fuel - about 40mpg, plenty of space. Only negatives:- Power steering is very light - not enough feedback. Brakes need slightly more pressure than I would like - but they will stop on a sixpence.
