Dave-UK
Thank you HDAV for prompting me to ask this question. My wife and I have just bought 2 new Beretta 686e evo's, My wife picked my gun up on Saturday from our dealer, and will pick hers up in a day or so. unfortunately when she picked mine up she wasn't shown how to put the barrels on or how to clean it. I know it sounds basic stuff, but as i'm away from home at the moment i can't help her. When you buy a new gun is there any work that's needed to prepare it for firing, or stock oiling etc..? HDAV
Depends on the dealer, some need packing grease removing, and a light oiling, beretta stocks are commonly in need of oiling out of the box quite a few got marks on the wood when spotted with rain. Try this for starters Have a read: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/226165-damage-on-new-silver-pigeon-1 And here: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/137174-waterrain-damage-to-new-sv10-beretta-help Edited April 28, 2014 by HDAV
