simple answer to the ops question (back on topic) is this,

 

save your money,,buy some targets and get out in the field ans set the targets out at different distances and at different angles to the wind,,

 

practice practice and more practice, that's all you need, be patient with yourself because when you first do it you will be amazed at just how bad your shooting is,,

 

even now I still go out in all conditions and practice on targets in all wind conditions,

 

have to say though,,,the .177 wolverine b has made things a bit more simple after being a .22 man

 

forget about range finders and improve your distance knowledge and stalking skills and you wont go far wrong

 

good luck with it anyway,,
