new to the flock
She is such a pretty bird I am torn between a Harris Hawk and a Red Tail come this year when I start my apprenticeship. Both fit the type of hunting available here and both are beautiful birds. I really like the social interaction of the Harris Hawk but I also rally like the fearlessness of the Red Tail in cover. Decisions, decisions I am pretty sure that the Harris Hawk is gonna win NTTF
harryhawk
Nice bird Kiya NTTF Whats the temp like in your part of Canada? Harris's suffer from wingtipadema. If they're in a cold wind all the time, its a bit like blaine or frost bite. a large blister appears on the wing then the tip can drop off. I know from reading NAFA hawk chalks that a few are flown up that far. Good luck.

I am thinking of 8' x 16' Not planning on heating it, but with 2 heat bulbs in it it should stay at a comfortable level. Thanks for the heads up, if you come up with anything else please pass it forward NTTF
