m greeny
I had a few hours this morning on a freshly seeded field. I checked it out yesterday and there was pigeon and crow all over it so had to have a go at them to keep the farmer happy. when i got there it was covered in crows so scared them off whilst i got set up but within minutes they were coming back in. i started well dropping the first 3 with the first 3 shots but then missed the next 5 with both bloody barrels and then a pair come in and i dropped both and this was how it panned out the whole time i was there i would miss several easy birds but then drop some nice high or speedy crossers. Anyways i ended up firing 48 shots for a mixture of 23 crows and jacks but strangely only one pigeon came in and i missed it. rich1985
Don't worry to much about the shooting we all do it at times! What time did u look at the field yesterday? The pigeons may not be working until after lunch? Rich
m greeny
It was 5 o'clock yesterday but I could only shoot this morning as I've got the kids because the wife's at work tonight but they are there for another day
rich1985
Yeah hope they hang about for you! Afternoons always seem to be best for pigeons this time of year. Good luck! You still got a nice bag today. Well done
