affinity121
Hi all, Just wondering what the process is if it is even possible to covert a standard 3 shot on a SGC to a FAC version? The reason I ask is I want a semi auto but only currently have a SGC with FAC coming in the near future. Thanks all.
archi
Yes is a simple job just get your gunsmith to order the mag extension tube and to swap them over then they will transfer the gun from SGC to FAC once you have the relevant slot on your FAC Yes is a simple job just get your gunsmith to order the mag extension tube and to swap them over then they will transfer the gun from SGC to FAC once you have the relevant slot on your FAC cost about £
affinity121
Sounds perfect. Didn't think it would be too difficult . Cheers for the feedback
Sco77w
Is the mag tube steel or aluminium on the m2. I have an Armsan that I like so I'm having it converted to S1 at the moment. You may find you could sell your S2 and buy a S1 cheaper as the market for 3 shot semi autos is greater than the one for multi shot shotguns. Only thing you may come up against is the popularity of the M2 amongst the PSG shooters. Worth checking out tho
affinity121
I was looking at the maxus but I wasn't sure whether the upgrade to FAC from the 3 shot was easy or even possible
Sco77w
I think you will find that most if not all modern semi auto shotguns are made as a 5 shot ( give or take depending on length of cartridge) and restricted to 2+1 for the uk market. This is usually by a crimp around the magazine tube. If the tube is steel and the crimp isn't too sharp it can be removed or the mag tube can be swapped out for an un restricted one with a bit of effort. Providing you have a slot on your FAC for such a gun of course.
