Ferreter willing to take me out for the day

Hi,

 

I would like to get some ferrets this year, but before I do I would really appreciate it if someone could take me out for the day and show me the ropes and teach me some of the skills required. Not just in rabbiting, but with looking after and caring for them as well.

 

I am going to spend the next 3-4 months reading as much as possible, but know that first hand experience wins every time.

 

Even just an email address so I can pester you with questions would be appreciated.

 

I am in Surrey near Dorking but willing to travel.

good luck trying to find someone, i would take u out, but im not quite confident on the actual ferreting side of it, but im ok with the care of the ferets, which i can help u with.

i live in chobham in surrey, so i may be able to show u a bt about handling at such lark.

Thanks for the offer Flash.

 

We live in Ockley (A29) so not too far from you.

 

I will most definately take you up on your offer of some instruction in handling in the near future.

 

Also, can you recommend any good books to read?

 

I have finished two by James Mackay which were very informative, but would like to read more on handling and rabbiting.
