willism
Barbells are 28" I dint know who resleeved it. It has been done before I bought it. I bought it privately From a guy who told me some history about the gun. Our say along The top w j jeffery & Co 60 queen Victoria Street London Embankment C Serial number is 5185. I took it to Essex gun to see what they thought and They told me if it hadon't have been resleeved it would have been worth Between 5 and 6k bup now it has more like 5 and 6 hundred. Is a nice Gun but I don't use it and only need a cheany to keep as a spare. Apologies for dire grammar. Using phone...
blasterjudd
Nice gun I have an ejector best box lock W J JEFFERY very similar to yours but a better stock with tear drops IMO Yours looks a nice gun though they handle very well and are lively little guns. You should have no trouble selling it as they are pure quality guns. They don't make like this now and will outlast all new guns. You should keep it won't lose money !!!! Good luck with your sale.... willism
Thanks. Yes I tried a few before I bought this and it just felt perfect to hold. Alas I only clay and occasional Rough shoot and am in need of a couple of hundred quid to buy a canoe For an organised event. I could hit more clays with a lanber o/u that I bought cheap than I could with the s /s and so it sits in the cabinet unused. Needs must and all that. Thanks for the message. The serial number and address imprinted in the gun suggest is an older jeffery as well.

Hi Yes your serial number goes back to their original location so its definately an older gun than mine whereas my one is from 9 Golden Square off Regent Street where they remained until 1955 until Westley Richards bought the business!
