Dave55
Has anyone seen signs of the Roe rut yet? Thanks Dave
Harnser
Yes today . A nice buck worrying a doe not 30 yards from my truck on a field of barley stubble . Won't normally be able to get that close . Harnser
fieldwanderer
I don't have the relevant calibre (in England) but I'm keen to learn for when I'm legal - has the roe rut got later over the last few years? Everything I've ever read or heard says late july / early august. Last year I got a buttolo more out of curiosity than anything but the plan was to try to get some nice photo's (I'm not that into photography but if I can't shoot them with a rifle I thought I'd try with a camera instead) I did some reading up and watched lots of videos but didn't see a single deer over several outings. I found my call again a couple of weeks ago but figured I was probably too late but the o.p. has got me wondering if I might get a chance after all?
