craigpigeonshooter
Managed to shoot 22 pigeons between two of us. We set up on a wheat stubble field at 4.30. Half the field had been ploughed. I set up under a tree with decoys out on the ploughed area, while rob set up on the opposite side along a hedge. The pigeons decoyed well to both sets of decoys. The pigeons coming to my decoys came straight at me but for rob they were coming from over the hedge over his head. This is where team work and Walkie talkies worked a treat. I could see the pigeons coming from behind the hedge and let him know there was one approaching. Every pigeon that came over I saw come over, towards the pattern and then see a cloud of feathers, a bang and the bird drop. We finished with 22 and packed up at 8pm.
