gwion wright
I'm just wondering what's the best weight for eight decoys down. I've been using single fishing weights for each decoy but I'm debating to get a motherline.....any preferences???

gwion wright
Why do u say the difference?
Terry P
Tide comes in and channel gets deeper in the alaw main channels and decoys work best on the far side, with inland sea tide rarely comes over the land you'll be sat on so can easily be retrieved and you can set the decoys better in singles and pairs. kent
Depends entirely on flow and if there is water there when you put the motherline out, what the bottom composition is. Not very complicated but you need to consider these things I have about half a dozen different ways
