naddan28
I have a golf lesson tomorrow with the club pro and after playing on monday and seeing **** loads of squirrels & rabbit **** (only saw one actual rabbit but lots of evidence) I may casually mention the fact they are destroying the course with bloody holes, think i lost a ball in one the other day :@ and should they need a hand i have a trusty air rifle. I am hoping being that a) i am a member I use a silenced air rifle and c) the fact the little ******* are damaging the course. May result in some new permission. rabbithunter
Is the course the one in Canterbury itself ,if so think i have been lamping a few times on it ,loads of bunnies on it , But i think the green keepers use airguns to control the rabbits . May not be the same one ,i think the one i was going on was not to far from the prison.Good luck either way .

Its Broome Park, former home of Lord Kitchener and right behind the big shoot at Denton! We have such a rural course that the bloody rabbits etc are around 24-7. I saw a flock of corvids the other day (to far away to identify crows/rooks) about 25 of the bloody things!
naddan28
Had the lesson, which went ok. Casually mentioned to the pro that I lost a ball to the bloody rabbits and that I could see the damage they were doing. He cursed a bit about them so I happily offered my services. Which were answered with a well the course is rented from the timeshare people and their manager is a bit fussy with people shooting. So I didn't push it but thought, will leave it for a couple of months and wait for them to breed and cause some serious damage. Then again happily offer my shooting servicesand if I get permission.... will lamp the ******* when everyone is asleep with a silenced air rifle!
