  5. Thanks, i didn't realise until It was pointed out to me yesterday. Apparently im a fair bit cheaper than him too
  6. After a fair bit of interest in my post, I have decided to offer several versions for sale. There lightweight, portable and easily switchable between l/h and r/h. I have put adjustable feet into the bench these give approx. 30mm of adjustment, if you don't need them they just wind out. I have also machined a gun rack into the bench top to keep our investments safe. The plans for these are available on the internet but if your not that handy with the tools or just don't have the time. Let me do all the hard work for you. The benches come in 3 variations. .. 1st... WBP ply, machined only( no sanding, oiling or feet supplied or fitted) it will require some minor fetling to complete. £50 plus £15 postage. 2nd...WBP ply (will withstand some showers) bench completely finished. Sanded, oiled and feet fitted for £75 plus £15 postage. 3rd.. Marine ply, ( will withstand submersion in water) bench completely finished. Sanded, oiled and feet fitted for £105 plus £15 postage. Discounts possible on multiple purchases too. I machine these myself so alterations and personalisation is possible too, just ask. Also willing to trade for stalking if that works for you. (my preferred option ) Hope this helps. Regards Brian
  7. Great site, made my permanent bench up the Farm based on one of these.
  8. Finally finished the bench today and I have to say I love it, wish I had made one years ago. I added adjustable feet and a gun rack to the design. May be persuaded to make a few to sell too if enough interest
  9. I have a CZ 550 American in 6.5x55 which I absolutely love............but starting to hate the fixed mag. Does anyone know of a removable magazine conversion I can buy. A quick google search has shown up nothing Thanks Brian
  10. It took Saturday morning to write then test the programme. Nearly there, I have tweaked the design some more. First one of the finished design will get run tomorrow. Then I can start turning them out for a few friends that have shown interest.
  11. Sorry for not replying sooner i've been out with the family. Thanks for the positive replys guys however.... I can take no credit for the design, its off plans drawn by someone else...I have no idea who or where they have come from. I received a DWG file which through Alpha Cam I turned it into what came off the machine. It's a brilliant design, interchangeable left and right handed and comes apart for storage. There's a few tweek's I want to make on the next one, adjustable feet being something I was thinking about. I have a few to make for mates so as the design evolves i'll put some pictures up. ATB Brian
  12. After moaning to a American friend about getting fed up laying on the deck to zero/plink, he sent me some plans for shooting bench, so while at work this morning I turned one out on the CNC. Turned out quite well I think. Off to my permission tomorrow to try it out.
  13. That's just the thing, I did look after him. Bottles at Christmas odd jobs in his house( i'm a wood butcher) Just didn't have the 2k to hand over for a years shooting.....
  14. I have the Chargemaster and cant fault it or the customer service. Mine went wrong and a few emails later and a brand new one turns up at mine before I had even returned the broken one.
  15. Just had a call from one of my few remaining permissions, to let me know he just sold out to a couple of guys who have offered quite I large lump of cash for the sole shooting permission on the land. That's 3 I've lost this way now, cant say I blame the land owner. After all who can say no to a fist full of cash. Is anyone else having trouble with this? Back out to knock a few doors over the weekend now to try and get me some more land. Don't hold out much luck, too many shooters and not enough land down these parts.
  16. Yup that's the place, its usually along the path that runs under the stables through the woods if that makes sense. Yes it ran along from the houses further along same side as the Fish and the graveyard, no my 90's a "rusty" blue lol with a lightforce on the roof and snorkel also gunrack over back door. You must have seen it!
  17. I,m in Denton too and have see a big old boar a few times up in the woods out back of my place while walking the dog. Also very early one morning on my way to work I saw one disappear into the graveyard by the pub, way back in the summer.
