Zeus
Hi, Looking at getting a second hand freezer to keep shot birds in and trying to work out how many birds would fit in a 100 litre chest style freezer?
Guest stevo
I found if i stack them nice and neat I can get 230 maybe 250 in mine . My one is 200 litres . But as a very rough scale to go by 1 bird = 1 ltr
turbo33
Hi, Looking at getting a second hand freezer to keep shot birds in and trying to work out how many birds would fit in a 100 litre chest style freezer? Not sure of the volume in mine, but I guess if you think a pigeon in not dissimilar in size and shape to say a wine bottle, and they are generally .75 litre contents, displacement closer to a litre, it would be close on 100 birds........maybe a few either side. Obviously the neater they are stacked, the more you will get in. Zeus
Cheers...I also guess that if I remove the feet and wings I could get more in neatly.
