hoggysreels
Had a few hours out last night with "Evo" .. we went on the spare of the moment, no pre planning. Bob is great company, and though we tried, we couldn't find the rats. There is no doubting that there are rats around the farm buildings, but it turned into a typical dental appointment, the tooth aint aching now lm sat in the dentists seat!! I never took much, my Lenser Led P7 has developed a fault, my Walther R8 isnt set up for night shooting, but Bob's is !! ... He took his Daystate Wolverine with Night Vision. It blew me away .. l'd been lent a NV monocular, just to have a nose about. Evo's night vision is on a different plain. Its like shooting in daylight, the definition is astounding, out to ranges well beyond the ability of any air rifle. The Daystate is something else, its so smooth and clinical .. "have to see if Bob want to do a straight swap", Walther for the Daystate !! At the start it was a "lets see what the rat problem is all about" but all were tucked up in bed, undoutedly having feasted on the grain. So we took a few feral pigeon in the cow sheds. Thanks Evo, really enjoyed the jaunt out, like you said, bait stations are the answer, "leave it with me" .. l will sort it .. then were out again mate ...
