B725
Got up far too early for my own good as we had planned a morning shooting the rooks and jackdaws.when we arrived in Matlock it was very foggy indeed and did wonder if it was going to be worth it.The decoys where set and the hides so it was a case of settle down with a coffee and wait, normally the crows move as it breaks light but not today nothing moved at all for the first hour then from nowhere they appeared in two's and three's and gone just as fast, the total was 3 magpies 1 rook and 24 jackdaws it was strange shooting and challenging but glad we stuck with it. B725
It was not that cold but the grass had not been cut and we ended up soaked to the knee.
