Katzenjammer
http://kp3.dk/index.html My shooting buddy bought one of these a fortnight ago following the pair of us trying one at Johnson Brown of Shildon. I followed suit this week. We tried his out last week with .22lr and .17hmr. Brilliant to use standing and seated, Easy to carry and erect once the technique learnt. I guess we will be trying them with higher calibre this weekend (.243). I have to say I was impressed from the time I tried it in the shop. They are pricey and googling them brings up two suppliers to date - Hammond the UK distributor and the aforesaid Johnson Brown. The website has links to press reviews as does Google. There are also Youtube links showing other quadpods in use. The collapsibility and weight of these KP3's is the advantage for field use together with the front support providing a platform form limited panning. There is another leg that can be attached by clipping on to the front supports. This is not supplied with the quadpod but can be ordered I guess. Katzenjammer
The trial went well. We chose a less than perfect area on our permission from a stance and setting up point of view not wishing to trail over to the part of the farm where we normally zero or test our rifles. We were on a slope but the height adjustable legs allowed us to compensate for that. The grouping were fine. Just need a bit more practice with the heavier calibres.
