Barrel proof

Barrel condition has more to do with how well the gun has been stored & looked after and how many shots it's had through it than how old it is. There's a saying when buying a gun that you should always buy on condition not on age. So I wouldnt worry about age at all if the gun's been well kept throughout its life.

As for double triggers, in my experience it becomes second nature to shoot with them after a few shots - you'll quickly learn to use the second trigger after pulling the first one twice a few times.

Nice looking gun there. Enjoy it.

Barrels as said above can have 100 years left in them on buying a well looked after 30 year old gun , or you can get a gun a few years old that has not been looked after where they are only good for scrap.

If the barrels are dent / pit and rust free and they are tight to the action worry not how old they are.

I can swap between single and double trigger guns with no issue at all.
