this afternoon, me dad and sis are going to B and Q to buy a garden shed, which it then going to be converted into ferretopia. aiming to have multiple leves, lots of pipes, and a warm place to sleep. has anyone on here ever used a gravity feeder for the dried food, and a chicken style water bowl for ferrets. want to cover each shelf with a material to make it easier to wash, is it alright to put rubber matting down, or maybe cheap tyles?

cheers

The chicken water hopper will need to be secure so they don't tip it over or pull it apart. The tank and feeder bowl are only held together by three tabs over the ring at the base of the tank. Comes off easily when carrying down the garden to the chicken run, usually in winter and always down my $"***!! trousers.

The main thing to remember with any flooring is to seal any gaps so yuck can't get in and cause disease.

When I finally get to make our court, am planning on a concrete base and the walls made of shuttering liberally coated with Marine varnish.

Excellent, give me a shout (mobile number in pm) and I will come over.

Clay shooting Saturday morning, apart from that, doing nothing apart from fencing.
