Fuj
Hi I am looking for permission to shoot on private land to do pest control for myself and my brother. We are both SGC holders and both have 12G shotguns and I am hoping to apply for a FAC and hope to use that along with our shotguns. I will be joining a shooting club in the new year (7/1/15) all being well and will only be able to apply for a FAC after 6 months probationary period as you will already be aware of unless I can gain permission to shoot on land. We are only free on a Sunday as we are both working at our Car bodyshop 6 days of the week. I will be able to give something in return ie. Repairs to your vehicle. We both live in Dewsbury and would not mind travelling 40/50 miles. Any info or advice please do not hesitate to PM me. Thanks
IanA
Good luck in finding some permission mate. Just one thing to remember, when/if you do manage to obtain a permission that doesn't automatically give you instant access to an FAC application. You will need the landowner to vouch for you. Try getting some permission with ferrets, you are more likely to gain permission without the use of guns. Once you have the permission then you can start to build up the trust. ATB in your search.
