smokinggun Posted January 21, 2015 Report Share Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) No your fine for using them while shooting etc, I carry a fixed blade on my belt or in my slip while shooting and I carry a lock knife to work and back each day as I use it in my job, When not working I have a legal carry penknife for general use and its always in my jeans, its blade length is under 3 inches and its non locking so no probs. The law on locking knives is pathetic but its the law so you have to tow the line. The fixed blade I take shooting is a Mora companion and it's a great knife for this purpose, maybe doesn't look like much but super sharp and great quality for a cheap price think I paid £12-£15, I got the stainless steel because I don't like carbon steel blades but they sell both.
