Jimgemini
I'm pretty new to this so I apologise if my etiquette is incorrect. I am looking for shooting opportunities in the Wirral/ North Wales/ South Lancashire/ merseyside area. Pigeon shooting would be lovely but I am more interested in a paid syndicate. I have my own vehicle and am fully insured with a licence. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this post. Again. If my etiquette is wrong. Please let me know and I shall edit this post. Kindest regards to all and I hope everyone had an enjoyable season, Jim
Bantam boy
Hello chap, Nothing wrong with your etiquette, no harm in asking around, If it's a pheasant shooting syndicate you are looking For, I would suggest you would do better on a Web site called gunsonpegs, they seem to have the lions share of shooting opportunities certainly as regards syndicates. Jimgemini
Cheers for the advice. I have looked on gunsonpegs. But what's sad is the price. All the city bankers and big earners pushing us out of the sport. I've been shooting for 15 years and had to give up my spot in a beat one walk one syndicate which was perfect for me because I was deployed to Afghanistan. It's becoming a very expensive pastime. Again cheers for your advice! I am going to try y hardest to get into the dee wildfowlers in the next couple of years! They seem to have a very good reputation and setup! Tollerman
There are cheap shoots about .If you are expecting hundred birds days then I'm afraid it will cost you a lot of money .Many DIY shoots operate on a smaller scale yet offer excellent shooting. They do advertise on the Guns on Pegs site so watch closely as many syndicates are now taking on members for next season. My own shoot in overcrowded Essex charges less than the local golf club .Don't give up just keep on looking and something will eventually turn up. Jimgemini
No sir, I am not after hundreds of birds. A bag of 10-15 birds is what I am used to. And I'm grateful to have even one bird over my head! Thank you for the advice and I shall keep searching!
