LeadWasp
Hoping that PW can give me a broad idea of what weight choices are readily available to buy for .25-06 catridges around the country to help round off my own research. So please could contributors let me know what they are buying and who from. I'd also love to know what weights people are buying raw bullets in and where from. many thanks! LeadWasp
Thanks for the replies so far. Morpeth is a bit 'east' for me as work normally takes me up the M6 etc. to go north but I could come home from 'The 'Burgh' that way one day as it's a part of the country I barely know. I didn't know about Mirfield and it looks a good place - a quick google shows it's close to Aaron Wheeler's who also stock some 25-06. Also I bloke I pigeon shoot with comes from Batley! I had neglected to consider Norman Clarks (??!!) so thank you for a nudge in that direction! Elk Hunter do you buy 25-06 brass or form your own cases? cheers guys

Dunkield
A mate of mine shoots a 25-06 and loves it but finds factory ammo hard to find. He shoots 117 Federal's, I see a local shop now lists them as in stock but about 50% more than the more common rounds

Dunkield
Emmett & Stone in Little Marlow http://www.emmettandstone.co.uk/main/ammo-price-list/ If you are in Sussex surely Andersons can sort you out?
LeadWasp
I'm on the far west of Sussex so Andersons is over an hour away east. For some reason I always end up driving north or west. However several people have recommended them so maybe I should take a drive one day. Emmett and Stone cropped up with 117's and 85's. They nare not badly priced. Dauntsey in Wilts came up with 117's at around £25 for 20 as Hornady's.
