spready
Are all SX3 models steel proofed? I've just bought a second hand one out of the sales section here its the 3" version rather than 3.5" . I think i can just about make out the fleur stamp under the barrel but not entirely sure, also has a winchester signature invector plus in improved modified , on checking on the winchester site thats steel proofed, should be ok right? even considering most companies recommend 1/2 choke . sorry for all the question, just wanna make sure ... derfley
Yes to what part? lol Yes the gun will be good for steel. Improved Modified is UK 3/4 choke which is probably tighter than most in the here would go, personally I would go no further than Modified (UK 1/2 choke) for steel, as ever YMMV. spready
Brilliant thanks, guessing it will be ok to use the pattenmaster code black duck on it then ?
fenboy
If the gun is steel proof and the choke is steel proofed you will be ok to use it , my versamax is proofed for steel even through a full and I frequently use it .
Tony G
Brilliant thanks, guessing it will be ok to use the pattenmaster code black duck on it then ? Pattermaster will be fine on it,just remember its quite a tight choke so you need to shoot straight !
