This, this, this, and this may be of help to you :good: Also, if you've not done already use the search function on this website to search for ladder, letterbox, larsen etc. Full of good information, I know the search function can be a PITA at times.

 

On the work issue, a ladder trap will also require regular care for it's inhabitants. 1,2,3 call birds will catch more, they need good shelter (I roofed part of mine), perches, regular feeding and clean always available fresh water. I fed my greycrows, when I had them, a mixed diet of rabbit, apples, bread, dry cat & dog food etc. They were all healthy and thriving despite what some will lead you to believe.

 

Oh yes. Peg it down well or put a floor in it. A storm blew mine over... ... ...

 

No floor...
