njc110381
I haven't been there for years. My first sea fishing session was there when I was about 7. I got a heavy bite on my 6ft cheapo rod kit from the gift shop, and got totally beaten by the fish before it got away
auto culto
I go regular to teignmouth as i have a static there so i can take the rib for fishing/diving and general razzing around. I normally go after Easter time as its easier to launch as the yachts are of the jetty by then. I've found that if you can put up with the cold weather you wont do to bad if your fishing just outside the estuary mouth (but still in the flow) with live sand eels. best time to fish is 1 hour before and after high water, after that then your pretty much wasting your time. If the tides are wrong ask to be taken on the bretang or the galicia for some wreck fishing but be prepared to loosed some tackle. There's some really big cod on the bretang. Have fun
