fieldwanderer
I'm a lorry driver by night and have been going to Glasgow twice a week for the last few years. Sometimes I see the matrix signs say "increased risk of deer in road". I always assumed it must be rutting time but now I'm revising for the dsc1, the dates don't seem to add up as the signs are on now - is it for the roe rut? And, if not, what's it all about? scolopax
Territorial issues with Roe deer. Last years young are getting evicted by mum and are looking for territories of their own. Bucks are chasing bucks to establish territories of their own, and finally mature does are chasing mature does to establish firm territories before they drop kids. It can be all very active!! Unless I go stalking...then nothing seems to happen :-) Edited May 8, 2015 by scolopax
