Oly
Check your bills - I checked mine today and I have been billed for phone numbers I havent called :o . There were three numbers (0700's & 0704's) that have been called on a couple of occasions (only for a few seconds) that I havent called . These calls cost 50p per go, which have added about £6 to my bill . I actually rang one from a landline to see what/who it was (even though I knew I was going to get charged!)...all I got was a guy's recording saying that "this number is not in use"...yeah right! I rang Orange bills dept and they say I must have made the calls but they have passed it onto bill intergrity as I said that Orange's security has been breached - the lady on the end of the phone didn't think that cloning a sim is possible - muppets ! Hence I've cancelled my direct debit and am now going to pay for the calls I make via invoice - that way I'm in control and not them ! The numbers "called" are the same type of number that call you for a split second then hang up...in the attempt to get you to ring them back so that they make money...**** ! I know it's only a few quid but if it happens more regularly etc...plus the security issue. Anyone else had similar experiences?
pin
I have had sms's I didn't send billed by orange but they sorted that out quickly for me. On the sim cloning thing, its not that easy to do in this country unless you can change IMEI numbers in mobiles - the network can tell if there is a cloned sim as there will be a different IMEI associated with it.
