dazzyboi
Found myself a shooting partner round by me, he lives right next to the fields and keeps an eye on them, crows have been hitting it hard so we are going out tomorrow morning at 0630 hours. Hide all done and dusted

dazzyboi
only ended up with 2 pigeons, but both were cracking shots. Didnt see much at our original location, then we spotted about 6 pairs of pigeons landing on the top end of the field, so we decided to move up there, i set out the decoys then came back in and helped my mate set up the hide. all of a sudden a see a pigeon heading straight for me. i grabbed the gun and stayed dead still, he flew straight in towards me and he ended up taking a full load 2nd one was shot as it flew over, about 35 yards up in the air, 2 of them. My mate got called into work then so were going to try that patch again sometime as there was plenty of pigeon activity where we moved too, just a shame we didnt have more time there. kip270
You don't need to go to all that trouble of a hide, take a look at mine and my bag for the few hours out http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=31650
dazzyboi
We havnt got the privalidge of rocks, its all nettles and thorns, too much trouble, just find some some back cover and pitch a net, aslong as they cant see you moving behind it its all good, they certainly didnt care about this one just a shame we pitched it in the wrong place the first time round Our bag may have been about 10 for an hours work.
