sishyplops
Hi all a curious one which i hope someone will know the answer to, I am about to pick up a remy 1187 Premier Trap, my understanding is this model was backbored and came with 3 excessively tight chokes by modern standards, i have read that if you put standard 1187 chokes in they are not the same as what is stamped on them due to the bore diameter being different as the std 1187 is not backbored, i:e 1/4 in an 1187 will not be a 1/4 in an 1187 trap any thoughts? many thanks

sishyplops
Thanks TDS, interesting reading, I think I will have to pattern plate it against my mk70 to get the full picture, it does have the original Trap chokes with it although one has bean reamed to 1/4 by Teague and re-stamped, I can't wait to get this gun Thanks again
